“151 MIGLIA” – 2014

This popular and sensational regatta is now in its 5th edition. Organised by the Punta Ala’s Yacht Club, Maritime Republic of Pisa and Livorno Yacht Club, boasts annual record of success and participation, involving beginners and experienced offshore sailers. This year the 70′ Pendragon – owned by Nicola Paoleschi first crossed the finish line, winning the Challenger Trophy. 151 Miles is not only a great sport event, this year’s comedy and music have given more. Cristiana Monina, as a sponsor for the awards – joined on the stage the famous comic Zelig, Fabrizio Fontana and with,the singer-songwriter Max Gazzè.

Cristiana Monina presented with Pippo Baudo the awards ceremony for the winners of the race 151 Miles landed in Punta Ala after sailing from Livorno. The gala event was held in the splendid setting of the Yacht Club Punta Ala, an elegant open lounge, between the pool and beach club very close to the sea. Strong point of the offshore race, the 151 Miles touches the Giraglia and the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. The sporting event, designed to enhance the strategic quality of the involved crew, is suitable for those who have not yet experience of large offshore and at the same time is stimulating for all the experts in the field.

Forzasette, LA7 – XXXII America’s Cup, Valencia 2007

Three hundred hours of transmission, of which 150 live. These are the numbers of Forzasette, the program aired on LA7 during the XXXII America’s Cup in Valencia, conducted by Paul Cecinelli joined by Luke Bontempelli and with technical commentary by Paul Cayard. Beside them an all-female team: “The Pink Team” formed by Cristiana Monina, Clare Cetorelli, Sara Sartini and Rachel Veal, to provide viewers with all aspects of racing, from the technical with the images of virtual spectator to those of color and costume.Cristiana Monina and Ugo Francica Nava live from the race course to live with the viewers the most exciting moments of the race, where no result is obvious for all teams and there is only one goal: win the America’s Cup!

Atlantic Crossing “Velisti per caso”

On the boat Adriatica belonging to the velisti per caso, we crossed the Atlantic Ocean from Cape Verde to Guadalupe, the Antille Islands, 15 days of navigation! A journey which was structured like an offshore sailing course concentrating on navigation, life on board, tactical manoevers and other, broadcasted by Yacht & Sail (ex Sailing Channel) the channel dedicated to sailing and the nautical world.

Men’s Health

A new experience regarding journalism. I worked together with “Men’s Health” magazine for articles regarding sailing within the section dedicated to Bestlife. The magazine is full of information and advice, obviously from experts, on very masculine topics from sex to fitness to work, eating, health, beauty, travel, contemporary news…Men’s Health speaks to those men who want to feel fit and take care of themselves.

Television Programme “Italia dei Porti”

From skipper to television commentator. A journey along Italy’s beautiful coast from Brindisi to Viareggio passing by Sanremo!
On two boats, Comet 38s, together with ten 18 to 30 year olds, from port to port the journey was filled with and full of discoveries, encounters with our sea’s nature, whose beauty is often unobserved by tourists and less experienced sailors. The programme was broadcasted by RAI the Italian Television, in close collaboration with AMI – Sea Assistance Italy, and was shown for ten weeks on the RAI Channel two.

Advertisment “Tim”

A friendship which developed in 2000 with Gaia and Petra and the music of a great singer, Edoardo Bennato, introduced the new advert for TIM towards “the unknown island…”. The story, set on board a boat which sails along the Italian coast, is about three girls: Petra Loreggian – ?; Gaia Bermani Amaral – an aspiring model; Cristiana Monina – professional skipper, who, upon returning from the boat trip discover that the car has been stolen. What could have been the end to the story becomes the beginning of another exciting adventure. We set sail from Genoa, destination Venice after sailing round the whole of Italy! During the trip the “TIM Tour” starts with events or rather a huge show which welcomes our boat in Italy’s most important ports and in the main Italian city squares including Naples, Milan, Palermo and Riccione with musical bands, artists and above all, the participation of the public. Created by Mauro Mortaroli.
